We’d always dreamed of living in western Canada, so we moved from Toronto to Vernon — the Trail Capital of BC. BC is our backyard now, and the biggest section of this blog. In summer we hike right from our doorstep in the Okanagan, or drive a few hours to Yoho and the Sea to Sky. In winter, SilverStar is our home mountain, where I volunteer as a mountain host.
